{"id":2542,"date":"2020-11-23T07:44:52","date_gmt":"2020-11-23T07:44:52","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.svu.edu.eg\/faculties\/agr\/?page_id=2542"},"modified":"2021-01-19T09:52:45","modified_gmt":"2021-01-19T09:52:45","slug":"postgraduates-and-scientific-research","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"http:\/\/www.svu.edu.eg\/faculties\/agr\/en\/postgraduates-and-scientific-research\/","title":{"rendered":"Postgraduates and Scientific Research Affairs"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Postgraduate Sector definition:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino;\">-Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Research and Cultural relations oversees the sector<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino;\">-The sector consists of five administrative divisions as follows:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino;\">Graduate Studies.<\/span><\/li>\n<li>Scientific Research.<\/li>\n<li>Cultural relations.<\/li>\n<li>The faculty journal.<\/li>\n<li>The Library.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Objectives of the sector:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino;\">Graduate Studies and Research and Cultural ties altogether to achieve the following:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Preparation of scientific personnel capable of conducting scientific research in various agricultural fields.<\/li>\n<li>Preparing research cadres for master degrees and doctoral degrees.<\/li>\n<li>Hone the skills of graduate students to keep up with the age requirement by study foreign languages and increase the skills to deal with the computer.<\/li>\n<li>Facilitate scientific research in collaboration with local or foreign institutions.<\/li>\n<li>Linking faculty members with states and foreign institutions by sending them abroad for friction in various scientific schools.<\/li>\n<li>Provide faculty members in conferences and seminars of various scientific researches to participate in attendance or preparation of scientific papers.<\/li>\n<li>Contract programs and cooperation protocols with foreign countries and organizations for the exchange of faculty members and conduct joint research and student exchange visits.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: georgia, palatino;\"><strong>Activities and functions of the sector:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Follow up the implementation of decisions of the Supreme Council of Universities and the University Council and the Board of Postgraduate Affairs.<\/li>\n<li>Organize accepting graduate students.<\/li>\n<li>Follow students and curriculum to meet their periodic reports.<\/li>\n<li>Manage all graduate students data on university database.<\/li>\n<li>Make all the statistics and reports related to graduates.<\/li>\n<li>Preparation of exam tasks and distribution committees\u2019 tables.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Postgraduate Sector definition: -Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Research and Cultural relations oversees the sector -The sector consists of five administrative divisions as follows: Graduate Studies.
