a) Research: Provide individual research
opportunities at U.S. universities / institutes
b) Collaborative Research: Provide opportunities to
Egyptian and American scholars who are involved in
joint research to pursue their research projects at
both Egyptian and U.S. universities / institutes.
Eligible Fields: All fields are eligible with the
exception of Agriculture, Medicine and Dentistry.
c) Lecturing / Research at Selected American
Universities:
Provide Post-doctoral lecturing / research
opportunities for scholars in various fields
requested by the U.S. partner universities /
institutions. Grants are awarded for a period of one
to two semesters and jointly funded by the host
university and the Fulbright Commission in Egypt.
d) Arts Management Grants:
Provide opportunities for Egyptian professionals
holding managerial positions in a museum, cultural
center, public library or art institute to pursue a
structured program of study followed by
individualized study to enhance their managerial
capabilities.
Eligibility Requirements: Egyptian citizenship .Ph
.D. holder and academic staff
Member at an Egyptian university or research
institution, excellent command of
English
For Arts Management grand category: B.A. or B. Sc
.and/or MFA and managerial position in a museum,
cultural center, public library, or art institute
PURATION: 3 to 9 months
